  • Name That Show

The conversation started out innocently enough, Tom and I were discussing the new series on T.V. and he mentioned that he was recording Ordinary Family next week, a show about a family that acquires superpowers and that one of the actors in the show was from The Shield.
We were chatting via gChat and I wanted to respond that I never saw The Shield, but it came out a bit like this:

    me: never say the shield
him: ok, the defensive piece of arm-worn armor.

At first I was very confused, then I read what I had actually written

me: LOL I mean, never SAW the shield
me: though... if you go around calling it that
me: have you seen The Defensive Piece of Arm-Worn Armour?

And then I got a brief flash of genuis

me: let's come up with names of shows
    him: for today's shows?
    me: yeah

  • Day Eight: Why are these questions so corny?

In an attempt to complete the exercise because I'm getting bored of the questions, I will wrap the last three days up today.

    Day Eight: Three turn ons.
1, 2 AND 3) Just be you and accept me for me. Don't decide that you know me until you actually do get to know me (as it takes some time).

Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
At this very moment I'm a bit of
    :)
    and a bit of
    :|
I'm somewhere in between the two.

    Day Ten: One confession.
I confess that you will not get a confession out of me online. I confess that what I say on here are things I would say in public or anywhere. I confess that the things I do not share online are things I will only share with a limited few people. I confess that this is the end of BEDA (Blog Every Day August) and the end of these exercises and I'm just a little happy about that. Now I can return to my regular blogging schedule BOOABM, which stands for Blog Once On A Blue Moon.

  • Day Seven: Four turn offs.

I'm guessing this means in general.

    1) Pretending to be something you're not. Just be yourself ... we all have to learn to love each other just the way we are.

    2) No initiation. This just means not initiating events and constantly depending on others, ALL the time, which kind of leads to the next one ...

    3) No ambition. There has to be SOME goal ... even if it's small or obscure, you have to be working towards something!

    4) Moving too slowly and rushing in too quickly. There is a balance in between the two that's a good and steady pace, either extremities can cause disinterest or else walls. I'm just sayin'.

  • Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)

I'm tempted to opt out of this one ... but I found a loophole =)

1&2. Mom & Dad -- for their patience and prayers. For their example. For pointing me to my Saviour.

3 - 6. Lunch Crew -- through thick and thin these ladies have ALWAYS been there. Listening to me, hanging out with me, being with me as I experience my first snowboarding adventure, a variety of shows and also for the times when I just needed someone to talk to and they listened. <3

That's a total of 6 people! Woot! There are many people who mean a lot to me in different ways ... I don't want to sit and think of just 5. So, I'm rebelling against this exercise =)
